Hey Dad,

Its been 3 years since you've been gone and its still feels like a bad dream. I miss being able to go to you for advice or just to talk. Things just haven't been the same since you've been gone. I wish you could have lived just a little while longer. Everyone here misses you like crazy. I pray you're watching over me and I'm making you proud. I love you daddy...miss you so much.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My Family,
My heart aches that I can not be there with you, but I know Uncle Keith would have understood. The days ahead will be difficult for all of us, but I truly hope that we will soon see our way to not mourning Keith’s death, but celebrating his life. Remember, for were not his life so well lived, his passing would not be so painful. I pray also that you will be a source of strength and comfort for one another. I can only say that it is my hope that when the master calls my name….for all of us must journey from life to eternity, that I will heed his call with the grace, dignity and confidence that Uncle Keith did.

God saw the road was getting rough, the mountains hard to climb,
He softly whispered “Keith close your eyes and peace, sweet peace, be thine.
Come hither weary traveler, for I can give you rest,
I know those left behind will mourn but son I love you best.”

My family grieves with you during one of the hardest times of your life. You and Keith were a model couple in my eyes and I loved to see the two of you show your love as husband and wife and best friends, everywhere you traveled.
Keith was a great -great man , with a winning smile that I never saw him go without.
34 years together, wow, what a blessing.. Cherish every moment as I will remember visiting on the Alvin Jones property with all of the Jones crew, Calvin, Keith, Debra, Jerene and Rachaun.
I celebrate his life and rejoice in his homegoing.....no more pain or suffering. I am sure he road out to Glory on his Big Red Fire Engine, smiling from ear to ear. God Bless you all.. Hold on to the Joy that God promises will come in the morning. Your morning may be far off but one day it will come.
We love you.

And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25,26 - God is just that good. Many Prayers and Many Blessings Upon You.

Regina, Krystle and Terrance,

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. You are our extended family! This relationship started many years ago with Aunt Ruth and has continued with us as well as our children. Hold on to the good times you shared as a family. Remember Keith's soft spoken words and his gentle smile. Over the years, even when he was a little upset, I can never remember hearing Keith even raise his voice. During his illness, he still had faith that everything would be alright! He is at peace now, no more pain, no more sorrow. He will be missed. If we can do anything, we are only a phone call away. Some will say don't cry but the human part of us will. As long as you keep Keith in your hearts and cherish the memories, he shall never be truly gone. God makes no mistakes and takes his best to be with him.

Much love and support from your extended family,
