Kimberly KNIGHT Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Kimberly M. Knight died Jan. 4, 2011, in her resident. She was born in Hampton, Va., on Aug. 9, 1979, to the late Roy L. and Barbara Ann Knight. She was a Phoebus High School graduate.
She is survived by her spouse, Solomon Pearson Waller; daughter, Alexis Pearson; sisters and brothers and a host of other family and friends, and a dedicated friend, Ernest Lee White Jr.
Viewing will be held today from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at the funeral chapel. Kim's strong loving personality is one to be admired. She will be remain in the hearts of all that knew her. May the entire family find comfort in her presence with the Lord. The Lord has taken away her ailments. The Lord has her in his arms. The Lord has prepared a special place for her, more special than any place she has made in our heart and memories. I will keep the entire family in my prayers, as the family grieves God will ease their pain. If I may be of any assistance do not hesitate to call upon me for service. May Kim rest in peace.

Memories flood my heart of you...I will miss you so. I never dreamed that it would be so soon that I would have to be without you but I bless God for our friendship. I recall Kimberly at Phoebus in the mid 90's. I didn't know her but she was always very nice, and respectful. I think I recall her being in ROTC at some point. I'm deployed to Afghanistan right now and I read the Daily Press, daily. I want to pass on my sympathy to her entire family and friends.
