Lauren SULLIVAN Obituary
Lauren was born on Oct. 7, 1993, in Lemington Spa, England, and raised in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.; Seattle, Wash.; and Williamsburg, Va. She was a gifted honor student in her junior year at Jamestown High School. She was the youngest daughter of Lawrence Sullivan and only child of Carla Wood and was the beloved half sister of Meghan and Natasha Sullivan. Lauren will forever be remembered by her devoted family (grandmother, aunts, uncles, and cousins) along with countless friends whom were blessed to have known her. Lauren loved to listen to music, to volunteer both at the Heritage Humane Society and the Mariner's Museum, and to dote on her cats at home. She loved to laugh, having a wonderful sense of humor and intellect. One of her biggest passions was drawing and her art was beautiful. Lauren touched the lives of many with her smile, quirkiness, graciousness, and loyalty. She maintained her trademark sense of style, passion for life, photography and art. At Jamestown High School, she was a Key Club member and a contributor to the Ascent Literary and Art Magazine.
Memorial donations can be sent to her home address or in her honor to the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Visitation will be at Bucktrout Funeral Home, Williamsburg, Va., from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21. A Memorial Service will be held at Bruton Parish Church at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22. The interment will be held privately.
A butterfly lights beside us is like a sunbeam. And for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it.....

We recently lost our 18 year old daughter Britney, our sweetheart. Our lives will never be the same. I read somewhere that the best thing you could wish a parent that has lost a child is peace..I wish you peace. I will pray for your family, please pray for mine. Our deepest sympathies.

What a beautiful young girl. so sorry for your loss. have faith in God and know you have a special little angel watching down on all who loved and knew Lauren. I don't know this family but felt the need to light a candle for this child.

I'm glad I got to meet an angel and call her my best friend. I've had many kittens through the years and I know your keeping all of them company, thank you for everything. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan for having such an amazing daughter.

Hello Dr.C and Mr. Sullivan. I am so sorry to hear about Lauren. I know you love her so much. Even though I didn't get a chance to meet her, I feel as if I knew her. Dr.C talked about her everyday and was so proud of her accomplishments and all the things Lauren loved to do. The way Dr.C would light up when she talked about Lauren was enough to show that Lauren was a joy in her life. I send my deepest condolences on your lost. Although she may not be here in the physical she is with you in spirit. May God forever bless her spirit. I will keep Lauren and your family in my prayers. God Bless!

I lost my 16 year old daughter just over a year now. Nobody can understand your pain not even someone who has lost one of their own children. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Though Lauren may not be with those who love her now, the memories of her will continue to heal those broken hears.
