Lavania COPLING Obituary
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Henry Copling (Tracy), Wanda Baker, Willie Copling (Joyce), Carol Burnette, Lee Copling (Betty), Ricky Copling (Janice), Wesley Copling (Brenda), Clinton Copling, Kevin Copling (Ella), Angela Peterson (Royal), Sharon Banks (David), Emma Snell (Charles); two sisters, Sarah Copeland and Bernice Dillard; special friends, Charlie Mae Wilson and Mildred Gray; one aunt, Rosetta Veney; and a host of grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Copling's viewing will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at Nickelson Cummings Funeral Home Inc., 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, VA 23669. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Canaan Baptist Church, 1100 W. Queen Street, Hampton, Va., where she was a faithful member. Pastor Bishop Samuel L. Cutler will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens Cemetery Hampton, Va. Granny, I thank God for a wonderful sweet mother-inlaw such as you. I watched as you shared your love with all of your family and others, and knowone was a stranger to you. A true woman of faith always standing in the gap for others and often saying that your greatest desire is that your entire family be saved. Faithful to your family and church and near judging us but living right before us , being a good example of a godly woman. Yes we will miss the pillow of the family but if we live for God as you did we will see you again. Thank you for all your love and encouragement.
