Dear Lawrence,
I miss seeing you everytime I visit Milnwood. We had a community dinner the other day with a moment of silence for you. Afterwards, my friend said "Now Lawrence would tell us to get on with the party." (^_^)
I know where you are now and I know you are able to feel the love that we all have for you.
Please sprinkle the gold dust from the streets of gold in heaven to us as we send you our love everytime we think of you.
For four years, you were always positive in every conversation I had with you.
You are my brother in Christ and I look forward to seeing you again for all eternity.
I love you,
Joanne Peredo

Lawrence didn't get a lot of outside visitors here in our little apartment community, but he sure did get out wheeling around in his power chair to BE a visitor to many. Up the lane he'd go, off to visit people in the Nursing Home, stopping to talk with his neighbors here on the way. Nearly every day I enjoyed some chatting with him, often a laugh too. I just loved that man... never a bad word did he speak about anyone or anything. I miss him very much, and I will always have a corner of my heart on which his name is engraved.

Samantha, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your father. God will carry you through (He brought me through in 1996 when my father, Roger Coppedge, died.) It is difficult, but you will be alright, I pray, in Jesus' name.

I met lawrence last year and found him to be a wonderful friend who had taken some of the lemons life threw at him and made his own brand of lemonade. He was always giving. I shall miss seeing my friend happily helpng people by getting their mail or visiting at the nursing home nearby. He has left a void that will not be easily filled.
My prayers go out to his family and extended family of friends where he lived.
