You have lost a very special, kind, generous and caring woman. There are not enough words to describe what you and your family are going through. I remember the first day I met Keisha when we were working at Chick-fil-a I knew we would be friends for years to come. She really touched my life as well as the lives of my family. To the Roberts Family:

My prayers go out to your family. Although I hadn't seen Keisha in years, I was truly saddened to hear of her passing. Keisha and I attended VCU together and I can truly say we had some good times. As another friend stated, I regret not keeping in contact with her over the years, also. However, I will cherish all the memories that I have of her, as she will be truly missed. May you all lean on God's love, as he will bring the family strength and comfort during this difficult time.

To the Roberts family: I worked with Keisha for years at CSB. We shared many long talks in my office. She confided a lot of personal issues with me. I can't even describe the feeling when I found out that she had passed. I hadn't heard from her in a while, but I always considered her a friend. She even assisted with my wedding. I will miss her greatly. Shawn, she loved you so much you were most of her talk. Keep the memories of her dear to your heart. This isn't good bye, but I'll see you later. Lakeisha take your rest we loved you, but God loved you best.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
