Leola ARNEST Obituary
She was a faithful member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Mobjack, Va., a member of Rebekah Lodge of Mobjack and a charter member of West Mathews Community League.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Arnest.
She is survived by her son, William Gary Arnest and his wife, Christa of Newport News; brother, Edward "Pete" Garrett and his wife, Becky of Gloucester; and her beloved grandson, William Gary Arnest II; and nephew, Bryant Garrett and his wife, Grayse also of Gloucester and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, on Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Miles, Va.
A special thanks to Five East Staff of Riverside Regional Medical Center, especially Ashley for their loving gentle compassionate care of our sister and mother. She was a special and giving person and will be greatly missed.
