VIRGINIA BEACH - Lillyan Masterson, 80, passed away Sept. 24, 2010.
A Christian Wake service will be held at noon Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Saint Mark's Catholic Church, 1505 Kempsville Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23464. Service will be followed by burial at Good Hope Cemetery, 1633 Benefit Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23322. Reception to be held at Michelle and Tom's house immediately following the burial.

Our thoughts are with you all. Your mom was a wonderful woman and will be missed. She was like my second mom and for the 11 years I lived in Virgina Beach knew I was somehow safe with her and your dad there. She was always warm and welcoming and made you feel like family. I have so many wonderful memories of her and your dad, and will never forget them. She was part of my growing up and young adult life and though I have been gone for many years would always know I would be welcomed , and they years would fade away. I loved your mom and dad very much. She and your Dad will be missed, but never forgotten. Love you all, Terri
