Dear Josh, Heather, Kristal, Vanessa & Ricky:
I do not know what to say. I do know "I'm sorry" is never enough. They say "Time" heals, but there never seems to be enough time. I am sorry.....sorry you lost your mother, sorry you lost your sister. I'm sorry the grandchildren will never know their grandmother. Just know my prayers are with you. Love Christy McClain & Family

Dear Josh, Heather, Kristal, Vanessa & Family: I was shocked to hear about Lisa. I know it is difficult to see beyond the sadness right now. When we lose someone we love it seems like time stands still. I understand your pain. We may not understand why Lisa left, but in time, hopefully, we will remember her life and the good memories will give us strength. I pray that you find strength and support from each other. My apologies for not being able to be there for the funeral. But know each of you were in my prayers. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your mother and sister. Love Aunt Ruth.

Vanessa and family, I couldn't believe when I heard the news. I am so sorry. There are no words to express my feelings, just know that you are not alone. I've been thinking of all the things we did as kids. If there is anything that mom or I can do please call. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Gina Gregory-Painter

Dear Josh, Heather & Krystal: In going through mom's [Aunt Ruth's] picture books I found a bunch of pics with your mom in it. She had such a free-spirit.......she loved life and had dreams, just like each of you. It's hard knowing we will not ever see her again. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. When it comes to life, live like there is no tomorrow, love like you won't get hurt, work like you don't need the money, and dance like no one is watching.
Letting go of someone dear to you is hard. I know, I've lost a parent, as well as siblings. You have memories, hold onto them. They will bring you comfort in the days ahead.
If I could be an angel, i'd make your every wish come true. But I am only human, just a girl who is grieving the loss of my cousin, your mother. Please know I am hear for each of you. If you need to talk I will listen. If you want to come visit please come. I have a quest bedroom. We could look at the reunion books. Each of you are in my prayers.

Vanessa and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you during this time, and I wish you God's grace and peace. I can remember when you guys would come to SC to visit each summer and sitting on Granny's porch in the evening. Also, the fond memories playing as kids in the apple orchid, cow pasture or in the woods with Lisa and Cousin Steve. It had been way too many years since I last saw her. She will be missed by all.

In the journey of life some people leave a mark so deep that it becomes hard to forget them. It's hard to say goodbye. I love Lisa. Although it has been a while since she came to the reunion, I kept thinking....maybe next year. And now to know next year will not come. I grieve the loss of my cousin. She had a wonderful smile & laugh. I remember one summer she came & stayed with me. We learn to play the game 'Pente'. I loved that game. We laughed & had so much fun. I will always think of her & that summer. She had great determination to beat that game.
Lisa's memory will live on through each of you. Take with you the great lessons in life she tried to teach you. I know she was proud of each of you. May you find peace & love in the days ahead.
With Heartfelt condolences

My prayers are with all of Lisa's family and loved ones. I did not know her, but I witnessed her strength and courage walking the aisle at St. Bede's, Chrissy and Josh's wedding. It was very apparent that she was struggling, with physical pain. She is with the Great Phycisian, and is healed, and rests peacefully forever and ever. She is your forever angel, and don't forget it. I will pray often and for a long time. God Bless you and yours. Amen. Sue Perkins, old and dear Vermeire family forever friend.

Josh,Heather, Kristle, your mother was a wonderful and loving mother. I know that you will miss her but just take comfort in the knowing that she is with God and will look down on you from above.
