Louise JOHNSON Obituary

HAMPTON - Beloved Mrs. Louise L. Johnson of 337C Silver Isles Lane, Hampton, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 11, 2010, at Sentara Careplex Hospital, Hampton.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Petersburg. She was born on Aug. 6, 1943, to the late Carrie E. Birriel and Clarence A. Mattox.
Mrs. Johnson leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ezekiel Johnson of Hampton; devoted and loving daughter, Kae Shaw (Wilson) of Petersburg; loving son, Jamahal Johnson (Rochelle) of Hampton; stepdaughter, Tymeka Johnson of Greenville, S.C.; dedicated and loving sister, Marie B. Edwards, supportive and loving brother-in-law, Carl D. Edwards Sr. both of Fredericksburg; loving brother, Pablo Birriel (Maydean) of Newport News; great-uncle, Ernest Hardy of Petersburg; five grandchildren, Wilson Jr., Keyhan, Jordon, Shante Shaw, Tenaj Johnson and stepgrandson, Leroy Jackson; four nieces, Carleta Heath, Tiffiny Edwards, Lisa Akins, Rhonda Mattox and Tierra Birriel; four nephews, Tony Mattox, Carl D. Edwards Jr., Jose and Paul Birriel; mother-in-law, Corine Johnson; three brothers-in-law, Daren, Muhammad and Timothy Johnson all of Greenville, S.C.; and two sisters-in-law, Misty Duckett of Greenville, S.C., and Eloise Johnson of Brooklyn, N.Y. Also left to cherish her memory are two cousins, Elsie McKoy (Haverd) of Hampton, and Ernestine Smith (Walter) of Petersburg; a host of other family members and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, Va., the Rev. Dr. Andrew J. White Sr., Pastor, Zion Baptist Church, Petersburg, officiating. The interment to follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park.
