Lucille PRETLOW Obituary
Lucille was a dedicated member of Sandy Mount Baptist Church, where she was honored as the Mother of the Church. She was educated in Isle of Wight County Schools.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving son, James Raymond Pretlow Jr. and his wife, Anginetta Pretlow; two dear grandchildren, Demetrius Pretlow (Cheryl) and Shaneta Pretlow; and one great-grandchild, Shania Pretlow; and sister of Dorothy Parker (Leon), Selone Evans (Julius), Nevolia White, Lillie Mae Hill (Curtis) and Clifton.
Mother Pretlow will always be remembered for her love of the Lord, her devotion to her family, and her strength and will to persevere.
Funeral services for Mother Pretlow will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Sandy Mount Baptist Church in Smithfield. Viewing will be one hour prior to funeral services. Blessings and peace to the Pretlow and Edwards Families. I remember Ms. Lucille as a kind and gentle person as I grew up in Sandy Mount Church as a child. We will keep you in our prayers. Take care and may God continue to hold you in the palm of His hands.
