Lucille PRETLOW Obituary

SMITHFIELD - Lucille Virginia Edwards Pretlow, 89, was chosen by The Master to take rest from her labor and welcome her to reward on Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010.
Lucille was a dedicated member of Sandy Mount Baptist Church, where she was honored as the Mother of the Church. She was educated in Isle of Wight County Schools.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving son, James Raymond Pretlow Jr. and his wife, Anginetta Pretlow; two dear grandchildren, Demetrius Pretlow (Cheryl) and Shaneta Pretlow; and one great-grandchild, Shania Pretlow; and sister of Dorothy Parker (Leon), Selone Evans (Julius), Nevolia White, Lillie Mae Hill (Curtis) and Clifton.
Mother Pretlow will always be remembered for her love of the Lord, her devotion to her family, and her strength and will to persevere.
Funeral services for Mother Pretlow will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at Sandy Mount Baptist Church in Smithfield. Viewing will be one hour prior to funeral services.
