When I first got involved with HBAV in 1992, Mack was one who always made me feel comfortable with his genuine concern for his industry and clients.
He had more knowledge about multifamily housing in his little finger, than most of us will acquire in a lifetime.
His pragmatic approach to looking past the problems and finding a solution to benefit all was the mark of a true genius!
We will miss him and his occasional sly housing humor.

Dear Peggy and family:
May God bless Mack. His many years of service to HBAV and housing will ALWAYS be remembered. The HBAV Legislative Committee has not been the same since he left us. Affordable housing was his mission in life, and he achieved very, very much.

Peggy and family:
I am extremely sad to read of Mack's passing. He was a true friend as well as a true professional. Peninsula Housing and Builder's Association as well as the Homebuilder's Association of Virginia benefited tremendously from his dedicated efforts to support important housing issues. He was a loyal friend as well as a great business associate and he will be sadly missed.
Sincerely, Buddy

As a former employee at Great Oak while Mr. Conway still obtained ownership I learned a great deal from him. He will be an inspiration for me to continue to persue any and all endeavors in the Housing Development industry. My condolences to the family and a special hello to Ms. Peggy who was so gracious and took very good care of Mr. Conway.

Be comforted in knowing that God is with you during this difficult time and that there are friends that also share your sorrow with you. I find Psalm
121 to be very comforting during these times.
