WILLIAMSBURG - On Thursday, February 7, 2013, God sent his Angel to Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville, VA to bring home our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Malinda "Linda" R. Bell. Her life began on June 8, 1934, the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Jefferson, in Charles City, VA. She was also preceded in death by her former husbands, Felder Richburg and Cleveland Bell, her sisters, Mary J. Tabb, Alice J. Johnson, and Aurelia J. Christian, as well as her brothers, James Jefferson and Purnell Jefferson. She leaves to treasure her precious memories her son, Kelton "Kelly" L. Richburg; her daughters, Marilyn R. Canady and Tammie R. Hicks; her four grandchildren; her two great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mattie J. Trower, Elnora J. Robinson, and Julia J. Opie (Earl) ; her brother, Wilbur B. Jefferson, Sr. (Belinda); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, loving relatives, and caring friends. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Charles City, VA on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. George Magazine officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the church by 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mrs. Bell may be viewed in the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
