Dave, Orian, and Family,

Kay and her family were our neighbors. We also attended the same church. Therefore, we ran into each other often.

Her parents were hard working, decent and honest folk, as I am sure that was the case with her and of her brothers, as my mother kept me well informed.

Kay would be asked to sing specials at the old 24th Street Church of Christ in Newport News. She always accepted whenever asked, which was regularly. Her voice was melodious, plus inspiring, as she put real feeling into her singing.

Our loss of Kay is a gain for God's Heavenly Choir, as surely that will be her next calling.

Sincerely, Robert Butler

David & Orian, I will always have fond memories of Kay. We grew up together, went to church camp together, sang in the choir together and then lost touch. My prayers are with you and your families.

How could I even begin to describe Kay..she had the biggest heart, always overlooking her own needs to help others. She loved her family and her church, was a terrific cook, had a great sense of humor..the list goes on. Kay was a beautiful soul. She'll be missed.

As a former member of Parkview UMC, Kay was a upbeat person. Every Christmas the Williams Circle would take a dish to her home and we would fellowship as well. She was very active in Parkview and Kay is going to be missed. My condolances goes to her family.
