Margaret SMITH Obituary
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Hal Edward Smith.
She is survived by her son, Hal M. Smith and his wife, Liz of Wake Forest, N.C.; daughter, Audrey S. Morrison and her husband, Doug of Poquoson; four grandchildren, Wayne Morrison and his wife, Debby, Eddie Morrison and his wife, Becky all of Poquoson, Dawn Kingston of Powhatan, Va., and Farris Smith of Brazil; five great-grandchildren, Zach Morrison, Morgan and Micah Kingston, Rachel and Bradshaw Morrison.
The family wishes to express great gratitude to the staff of the Jefferson Unit at James River Convalescent for their wonderful care and love given to Margaret.
Friends are invited to visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home; where a celebration of Margaret's life will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.

Hal and Audrey and families, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. What a sweet precious woman of God. When I was working at First Baptist it was always such a joy on Wednesdays when she was busy cooking in the kitchen. I must say she made the most wonderful chocolate pound cake ever!! Of course, there were many other great dishes too but that one always stood out. What a blessing both Mr. and Mrs. Smith were. They will be greatly missed on earth but we'll look forward to that day when we will all be together again. - Bobby and Faye Beale
