Joe, and the Leming Family,
I was saddened to hear of the loss of your mother. Maria and I spent many hours working with the Severn Republican Women and driving to and from Republican conventions. I was very fond of her, and welcomed her opinions on many subjects as she was not shy about expressing them. She was a very special lady. I send my deepest sympathy to you and your family. To the Leming Family,
I am so sorry to know of the loss of your dear love one.

May each of you find comfort in knowing that God loves each one of you and will provide you with strength beyond what is normal to endure your loss.

Maria is at peace, awaiting the resurrection as Jesus talked about at John 11:25 and 26.

Joe,
I have fond memories of your mother and your family from my childhood. I remember when we stayed with your family back in 1968, prior to moving into our house in Bethlehem, your mother was one of the sweetest women I have ever known. She will be missed by anyone who has been blessed with the good fortune to have crossed paths with her in life.

We do not know each other but my admiration of your loved one, who donated her body to science, is great. I see this symbol so few times and personally rejoice when I do as I,too, feel it is our ultimate final gift. Mrs. Leming's obit was a testimony to her giving nature and so she was to the end. I've always felt my body was just a house where my soul and spirit temporarily reside, and when I am no longer in residence, maybe some resident intern will learn something that will benefit his/her future patients. Thank you for your wonderful gift, Mrs. L.

Dr. Leming & Family - Maria was a very special lady, and she will be greatly missed! She brought so many smiles to me over the years, and I will never forget the impact she had on my life. I always had the utmost respect for Maria's views on life and politics -- when Maria spoke, you wanted to listen. My prayers are with you all.
