Marianne HALL Obituary
Born in Austria on Sept. 29, 1942, she came to the United States in 1963 with her husband, George Hall and daughter, Vera. It was here in Newport News, she established herself as a wife, a mother, and a business woman. Her desire to be successful led her to achieve four hair shops in her 40 years of hairdressing. Her most recent was in City Center, Shear Designers. Besides her love for doing hair, she loved the beach, the mountains, and life in general. She gave one hundred percent in everything she did. Mom was amazing, dedicated, and loving. She will be missed by many, and remembered forever.
She is survived by her daughter, Vera Hall; and her two grandsons, Tyler and Daniel Smith.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Weymouth Funeral Chapel by Chaplain Gil Mitchell with visitation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Marianne would have appreciated donations be made to the SPCA Humane Society, 523 J. Clyde Morris Blvd., Newport News, VA 23601.

Vera, Tyler and Daniel...I am so sorry for your loss. Marianne was a friend of mine for more then 35 years I will truly miss my dear friend of so many years. She so love you guys with all of her heart and soul,you were everything to her. She will always be with you in your heart. May God wrap his arms around you and bless you during this time of sorrow. Vera, Val and I are so sorry for your loss. Mary was a wonderful neighbor and probably one of the hardest working women I know! I also know that she adored you and her grandsons. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. With love. Al Briggs
