Marie Riddle Obituary
She was born on June 4, 1922, in Bristol Tenn., and was a 1940 graduate of Appalachian High School. She was a longtime resident of Newport News, having lived here for 59 years.
Mrs. Riddle was preceded in death by her best friend and beloved husband of 60 years, Hershel E. Riddle.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Riddle and his wife, Judy, and Mike Riddle and his wife, Susan; three grandchildren, Blair, Meredith and Sarah; and dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. tonight, Nov. 4, at Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in Peninsula Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.

Dear Steve, Judy and Mike,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. But rest assured that Marie is happy and at peace with her beloved Herschel.
