I am so sorry to hear of Mama's passing. You know how much I loved her as well as all of you. This strikes me very hard as it hasn't been very long since I lost my Mom. My heart and Prayer's go out to all of you as well as with the rest of family.

The tide recedes, but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle warmth
still lingers on the land.
The music stops, yet echoes on
in sweet refrains.
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.

I graduated from nursing school with Martha 38 years ago. It's so hard to believe that it has been that many years. My prayers go out to you, the family in this time of great sadness. Those of us who also love the Lord will one day be reunited with Martha... this is the most important thing to remember as you grieve your loss of her on this earth.
