Mary HOUSTON Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Mary Ann Houston, of 25th Street Newport News, Va., passed on Tuesday, June 22, 2010.
Mary Ann leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Pearlie Swilling; husband, James Houston Jr.; four children, James III, Jerome, and Shiela Houston, all of Newport News, Yvette (Oterrio) Brown of Connecticut; four brothers, Fredrick (Lynn), Linwood, Steven Swilling, and William (Kathy) Lawrence; six sisters, Rebecca Johnson, Brenda (William) Hicks, Joan Fullwood, Shirley Swilling, Annette (Frankie) Nelson, and Angeleah Swilling, all of Newport News; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and longtime friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, June 28, 2010
at Saint James Fellowship Church of God, 4312 Orcutt Ave., Newport News. The viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601 27th St., NN.
