Mary BUFORD Obituary

HAMPTON - Mary Elizabeth Buford, 77, passed away, Friday, Nov. 5, 2010.
A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, she worked as a cashier for the Newport News School System, retiring in 1991, after 15 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Gwendolyn Nicole Spigner; sons, Lawrence Mitchell Gentry and Anthony William Gentry; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Gentry White; sister, Vivian Hines (Walter); sister-in-law, Pauline Bowden; and grandchildren, Tiara, Monae, Jordan, Tatyana, Brianna, and Ayanna.
A service of remembrance and celebration will be 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, on Big Bethel Rd., in Hampton.
