I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss to 4H. Mrs Garrow was a wonderful person to know and a great 4H leader. She's the reason I became a 4H leader. I have many fond memories of her and the 4H club. We were lucky kids to have such a wonderful person influence our lives.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Mrs. Garrow. Some of my fondest memories were spent with the NN 4-H club, under her watchful, caring and generous eye. I was so glad to have reconnected with her and 4-H in the last years. She was truly an inspiring woman and phenomenal leader, and will be greatly missed.

The 4-H family has lost one very special lady. As a new 4-H agent in 1981, she taught me so much about horses and kids and how good clubs operated. I have often thought fondly of her and Sharon over the years and how they gave so selflessly of themselves to help their 4-H'ers grow and develop.

David,
I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's death. She was quite a lady!! So strong for you and Sharon all those years. Not to mention the many 4-H kids she touched and helped grow in both horsemanship as well as maturity in life. I was always so pleased when I would see her and we chatted about the old days. She took such an interest in my Mom as well. They shared many hours hanging over the rail as leaders watching Sharon and me school horses, show and then to coach others. Again, such a wonderful lady. I am sure there will be a new 4-H club in heaven once she settles in and runs into my Mom !! We were lucky kids, you know. I am greatful to have known Mrs. Garrow for all these years and wish you the best.

I mourn the loss of Mrs Garrow ~ when I think of my time in 4-H I can't not think of her. She gave so much to so many kids in the Newport News area. My becoming a 4-H leader was influenced by my experience with her and I hope I can make her proud.

I am very saddened to hear this but feel better to know she is with Sharon and the Angels now who watch over all of us. I remember spending the night at her house the night before we went to the State 4-h Horse Judging Contest at Rapidan River Farm. She made the couch up for me. She was a very special lady her smile will be in my heart for ever.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the Garrow family in this time of sorrow. Sharon & Mrs Garrow were fixtures in the 4-H community and are surely missed. I'm sure she is up in 4-H Horse heaven getting everyone straight on what their job is! God speed.

Mrs.Garrow was such a kind and generous lady. Some of the best times of my youth were spent under her watchful eye as my 4-H leader. I remember all the wonderful times at competitions and horse shows, and was inspired to get back into helping with 4-H because of she and Sharon. I know many of us are thankful to have had the honor and priviledge to be one of Mrs. Garrow's "kids".
We sure will miss you,
God Bless
