WILLIAMSBURG - Mary Isabelle Bryson Hall passed from this life on April 24, 2014. She was born in Glouster, Ohio, to parents Margaret and Ernie Bryson, on November 14, 1926. Mary had a wonderful childhood surrounded by many family members and friends. For many years she and her husband, Al, were editors of the local newspaper, The Glouster Press. After moving to Virginia, she worked in the Archives and Records Department at Colonial Williamsburg from which she retired in 1991. At this time, she continued to spread her love and caring spirit to all she met. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is survived by her loving family, including daughter, Pat Novak and husband, Larry of Williamsburg, Virginia; daughter, Jennifer McLawhorn and husband, Jeff of Yorktown, Virginia; and son, Alan Hall of Raleigh, North Carolina. She also leaves adoring grandchildren and great grandchildren: Chris Novak and son, Daniel of North Carolina; Corey Novak and wife, Lori and son, Evan and daughter, Carol of North Carolina; Leslie McLawhorn of Virginia; Chris McLawhorn and wife, Megan of Texas; and Matthew McLawhorn of Virginia. She also leaves brother, Ernie of Ohio; younger sister, Margie of Ohio; and brother, Bill of Idaho. Graveside services at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Dr., Williamsburg, VA, on Monday, April 28, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the
