Melvin VARBLE Obituary
He was a resident of Williamsburg for 56 years and longtime member of James River Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, the late George and Iona Varble; sons, Melvin Varble Jr. and Mark Varble; five brothers Elmer, Paul, Johnny, Irving and Frankie; two sisters, Virginia and Thelma.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary E. Varble; four sons, Mike Varble his wife, Faye, William Varble his wife, Sharon, Kevin Varble his wife, Julia, Keith Varble his wife, Tammy; three sisters, Margie, Velma and Helen all of Illinois; nephew, Bub; five grandchildren, Alexa Wilson, William Prince, Christopher Prince, Amanda Varble and Buck Varble; one great-grandchild, Bryce Alexander Prince.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2010, at James River Baptist Church. Interment will be at James River Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Funeral Home.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the death of Melvin. I can remember Melvin helping me overhaul the motor on my truck many years ago. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
