POQUOSON - Russ, age 64, died Saturday, December 12th at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia Hospital. He was a native of Newport News and lived in Poquoson for the last year. Russ was a truck driver for Flowers Baking Company for thirty-seven years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Brickner and his father, Merle Russell Brickner, Sr. Russ is survived by his daughter, Aimee S. Payne; son-in-law, Scott Payne; sons, Wade Foster and Scott Foster; mother, Peggy R. Smith; brother, Mike Wallisch; grandchildren, Caleb J. Biddison and Kimberleigh F. Biddison; and, great-grandchildren, Cayleigh Marie Biddison. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 16 at Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 17 at St. Lukes Memorial Park in Smithfield.
