HAMPTON - Michele Rene Bonilla of Hampton, passed away on July 31, 2012, at the University of Virginia Medical Hospital. She was born on April 19, 1963, at Cannon AFB, New Mexico to Raymond and Nancy Bonilla of Seaford.|
Michele was a dedicated partner to her loving fiancE, Brian Harmon and a devoted, incredibly proud, loving mother to her daughter, Ryleigh Jane. Fortunately for us, who will carry on, Ryleigh is a beautiful and energetic embodiment of her mother and watching her grow will ease the pain and continually provide joyous reminders of our dear Michele.
Michele will be greatly missed by her brothers, Raymond Jr. (Michelle), of Austin, Texas, Terry (Sandy), of Virginia Beach, Kevin (Tamberlee), of Yorktown; nieces and nephews, Brittany and Andrew White, Cassi and Alex Neely, Jacob Harrison, Jessica and Josh Foy, Nicholas Bonilla, Sofia Bonilla, Gracie Bonilla, Brady Bonilla, Kylee Harrison, and Lincoln Neely. Also left to cherish her memory are Brian's parents, Jane and Donley Harmon, of Cobbs Creek; special aunt, Mary Jacyk, of Richmond; best friend, Dana Barefoot and family, of Yorktown; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins in Richmond, Chicago, Ill., San Antonio, Texas, and other areas of the country.
Michele was a beautiful young woman with a big smile and beautiful heart, always giving and helping but never asking for anything in return other than sincere friendship from everyone she met. Her passions were causes, to include juvenile diabetes. She also loved volunteering at Elizabeth Lakes Swim Team and at her daughter's school, Armstrong Elementary, and cared deeply for the principal, staff, and teachers there. We know she will be missed.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Peninsula Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton.
