Myron BROWN Obituary

CARROLLTON - Myron Jay Brown, 48, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, after a brief illness.
Myron was a native and lifelong resident of Isle of Wight County. He was the son of the late Robert L. and Jane Murphy Brown.
Myron was owner operator of Brown's Marina. He enjoyed commercial fishing and enjoyed life to the fullest.
He is survived by his brothers, Greg A. Brown of Prince Frederick, Md., and Marc E. Brown and his wife, Joyce of Carrollton; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Davis, Nathan Brown, Miranda Brown, Leah Brown, Ashley Brown, and Taylor Brown; a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at St. Luke's Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Colonial Funeral Home, and other times at the marina.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation, Hampton Roads Chapter, 1515 N. Military Hwy., Suite 106, Norfolk, VA 23502.
