Myrtle BISHOP Obituary

NEWPORT NEWS - Mrytle Virginia Bishop, 86, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 2, 2010, after a short illness.
A native of Speedwell, Va., Myrtle had lived in Williamsburg for 67 years. She was an employee of Binn's Department Store for 5 years where she loved meeting and talking with many of Williamsburg's residents. Myrtle moved to Newport News in 2004 where she lived with her son for five years.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, John Q. Bishop in 1981.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Robert J. Martin; three brothers, Robert McAllister, Terry (Bud) McAllister and William (Bill) McAllister; three sisters, Elsie Hall, Aileen Irvin and Catherine Larson; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2010, in Williamsburg Memorial Park with the Rev. Clarence W. Hilling officiating.

I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Myrtle was a GREAT AND AMAIZING LADY! I will always remember her with the fondest memories and love. My only regret is that I can't be there. Just know that I will be there in Spirit and HEART! My prayers are with you. Take care.
