Nicholas KEENE Obituary

WILLIAMSBURG - Nicholas S. Keene, 65, died April 24, 2010.
A beloved husband and father survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane Keene; two daughters, Wendy Hahne and Laura Keene; and five grandchildren; one sister, Kathy Morse; and his brother, Bayard Keene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvil and Bernice Keene.
Nicholas graduated Garden Creek High School in Oakwood, Va., and attended the University of Maryland. Nicholas Keene was a very accomplished builder who won many awards for his designs in residential and commercial building. He retired from his business in northern Virginia and moved to Lanexa where he continued to work in the building industry and was a member of the National Builders Association.
Nicholas was a trusted member of his community and was always there when friends and neighbors called on him. He was a man of immense character and integrity and will be truly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Bucktrout of Williamsburg Chapel. Interment will be at Boyd Ridge Cemetery in Honaker, Va., at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010.

Sorry to hear about Nicky. We didn't know that he was sick and hadn't heard from you all in such a long time.
