Greg,
Losing a parent is very hard. I found comfort in all the wonderful memories that both family and friends shared. I hope your memories will bring you comfort as well. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm glad Paige is there for you.

Dear Greg and Mr. Williams,
I have been kept up-to-date on Mrs. William’s health by Jody and she called to tell me of her passing. I have been away from the peninsula a while but will never forget the people who were a part of my life. When I think of your mom and dad, I think of their generosity when Jody and I lived under their beach house in the Outer Banks. Your mom and dad would come down on the weekends and bring fresh strawberries for Jody and me. Your mom was the one who walked with Huggie Bear, Jody, and me to rescue the first love of my life, Deke, and his two sister puppies at dusk at the beach. I think we would have been scared without her. Lastly, it was your parents who cut our rent in half for a couple of weeks to help us out because gas was so high, families weren’t vacationing, and waitressing was really slow. The picture of your mom you chose is how I remember her. She had a beautiful, twinkling smile; it was contagious! I wish I could be with you tomorrow but work and distance make it impossible. I will be thinking of you both and remembering the love your mom showed Jody and me. Michael sends his condolences. I love you both.

Mr Williams and Family,
As I read the paper this morning, I came upon Mrs Williams entry. I could not help but be struck by Mrs Williams warm and friendly smile as I have in the past. Please accept my deepest sympathies on your loss.

Greg, I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Paige's beautiful words describing your devotion to your mom were testament of your love for your family.

I know how hard it is to lose your mom. She will always be with you. Now you have a special angel looking over you. It won't be the same, but it will give you comfort.

I will keep you in my prayers.
