I knew Norris well from his time at Firestone and later at Fort Eustis. I happened to be thinking about him and looked him up and found his obituary. He was a kind man who would do anything for you. God rest you Norris

Janet and Family,
I enjoyed very much working with Norris at AATD at Fort Eustis. He was a generous, helpful friend. He'd help you enjoy everday life. We'll miss him a lot but am glad he is with Jesus and not suffering anymore. I'm praying for you and your family.

Norris always held a special place in our hearts- he was like a grandfather to us. He always had time to talk and was the first to make sure everything was OK with us and of course to play a little fetch with Clementine. Watching him during the construction of the new house was so much fun- it was a dream fulfilled! Norris, we'll miss you. Our prayers are with the entire family. God Bless.

Paxson was so fun to be around. Even when he felt bad, he tried to make me laugh. I will miss him at family gatherings. I am thankful that he is no longer suffering and is with Jesus. He fought a hard, long fight. To the family - I am so sorry for your loss and know you all will miss him greatly. God sees your pain and will get you through if you take rest in his arms. I think that's how Paxson got through all of these years. I love you guys.

My condolences to the family. Norris was so funny. He has gone home to be with his Father in Heaven. Norris will make Him laugh. He who brings Jesus into their lives will see their loved ones again. Every time I saw him he would always make a joke, and make a rainy and cloudy day turn into a sunny and bright day. He is one of a kind. May God be with each and everyone of you as you go through this time of sorrow, but yet Rejoice, in that Norris has gone home to be with God in Heaven. Remember though, you will see him again in heaven. God Bless
