HAMPTON - Olivia L. Byrd went home to be with GOD on Dec. 9, 2009.
Olivia, known to family and friends as "Punkin" was born on Jan. 10, 1950, in San Diego, Calif. She moved to Hampton in 1988. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Olivia was a crafter and master seamstress who was fiercely loyal to people she loved.
She is survived by her cousin, Lori Hobson; and her sister, Candace Jones; as well as her grandchildren and a host of close friends and family.
There will be a wake from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, and a service at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, both at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, 1510 Todd's Lane Hampton, VA 23666. View and post condolences on our online guestbook at dailypress.com/guestbooks.
