My dearest Grace, Bentley, and all of Paul's family
Rick and I are so happy that we had a chance to know and spend time with Paul. During our last visit to Urbanna this past April, we took a great photo of you and Paul together in your kitchen--his great big smile and his arm around you, Grace. We also have a great photo of last Fall when he was "cooking his okra" in the iron skillet on the grill. Remember that, Grace? I have never laughed so hard. I can still see him helping you in the kitchen, Grace. I loved watching him unload the dishwasher. Funny!!! I can still hear his voice, and will always remember his kindness. What a wonderful man he was--young at heart, handsome, and full of life. I espcially loved working for him when y'all were living in Peachtree City. If I was in a bad mood, he could lift my spirits with his smile, hugs, and conversation. I can still hear him ask, "how did you do that," when I would use your home computer. He'd pull up his chair and constantly say "why does it do that?" I loved his personal garden tours both in Peachtree City and Urbanna. We shared lots of laughs and jokes throughout the years. My "oyster" buddy is gone but each time I have oysters and have my sip of Scotch, I'll think of Paul. He was a "jewell." I guess "his pencil ran out of lead," Grace. I wish Rick and I could be there to comfort you during this most difficult time.
We love you all.

A twinkle always in his eye. That is what he always showed to me. You were all so special to him. Now, as we watch the twinkling stars we will be reminded of him who loved and served us all.
