My deepest sympathy is expressed to the family of the Pauline C. Morton. She was an inspiration to many students and faculty at Virginia State University, the Human Ecology Department. She provided emergency funds for students to purchase books and other supplies needed! She was energetic and exemplified a high level of professionalism all the time! She will be missed!!

TO: The Family of Pauline C. Morton

My wife and I extend our most sincere sympathy to you upon the loss of Sis. Morton. We first met her over twenty years ago. We were always impressed by her dignity, strength and kindness. She was truly a role model. During the years, we shared her smile and most of all her pleasing personality. No one who knew her will ever forget her.

May God strengthen you with his love and grace. And may you find comfort in the blessed hope of our Lord’s coming and the resurrection to eternal life of all who love him.

I share in your loss of an inspiring person. I was very active with the New Homemakers of America and became a Home Economics teacher in Halifax while she was the state supervisor. It is a blessing to see how she touched many people in her lifetime.

May God bless each of you.

The members of Pi Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Chesterfield Co., VA are deeply sadden by the passing of our former Regional Director. We admired her courage and her sincere attitude. We pray for the family's strength as they go through this period of sadness.

To the family: Remember God creates angels to operate in the earth. Remember He creates angles to operate in heaven. Let's be thankful that Sister Pauline has the privilege of being BOTH angles. I pray God's loving peace over your family.

When I became a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mrs. Pauline Morton (Soror Morton) was the regional director. I cherish the memories of her and her leadership. You see, she was my first regional director. To the family I say, let us remember her sweet spirit and continue to look up unto the hills for which comes our help.

Memories Keep Those We Love
Close To Us Forever

Although words seem to say so little,
I hope they help in some small way
to ease the sense of loss
that you’re experiencing today.

Hold fast to your memories
to all of the cherished moments
of the past,
to the blessings and the laughter,
the joys and the celebrations,
the sorrow and the tears.

They all add up to a treasure
of fond yesterdays
that you shared and spent together,
and they keep the one you loved
close to you in spirit and thought.

The special moments
and memories of your life
will never change.
They will always be in your heart
today and forever more.
