My deepest sympathy is expressed to the family of the Pauline C. Morton. She was an inspiration to many students and faculty at Virginia State University, the Human Ecology Department. She provided emergency funds for students to purchase books and other supplies needed! She was energetic and exemplified a high level of professionalism all the time! She will be missed!!

My wife and I extend our most sincere sympathy to you upon the loss of Sis. Morton. We first met her over twenty years ago. We were always impressed by her dignity, strength and kindness. She was truly a role model. During the years, we shared her smile and most of all her pleasing personality. No one who knew her will ever forget her.

I share in your loss of an inspiring person. I was very active with the New Homemakers of America and became a Home Economics teacher in Halifax while she was the state supervisor. It is a blessing to see how she touched many people in her lifetime.

When I became a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Mrs. Pauline Morton (Soror Morton) was the regional director. I cherish the memories of her and her leadership.
