Peter E. BOLTON Jr.

HAMPTON - Peter 'Pete' Eugene Bolton Jr., passed away unexpectedly April 10, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer.
Peter was born on Sept. 1, 1935, to Lula Mae Bolton and Peter Eugene Bolton Sr. in Gadsden, S.C. A longtime resident of Hampton, Va., he retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked at the NN Shipyard.
He is survived by his wife, Insue Bolton; and son, Charles Bolton; and two grandchildren.
He also leaves behind to lovingly mourn his memory, four daughters, Delores Renee Bolton, Evangelist Christine A. Mayo (William ), Evangelist Jacqueline Denise McKenney (Mark), and Patricia Ann Bowman; two sons, Thomas Eugene Bolton and William Eugene Bolton, and their mother, Vivian Elaine Walker Bolton; two sisters, Janie Mae Tucker and Susie Robinson; two brothers, Herbert Bolton and James (Ann) Bolton; he leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, and  a host of nieces and nephews.
Daddy, rest in peace, we love you and miss you, imagine our surprise to hear you were gone, without a goodbye from us, so much time as been wasted and has passed. Right now we offer you and the family, the gift of forgiveness, its a gift we open ourselves everyday!  We all must learn to forgive and not hold grudges, if we will ever truly be free! We must Forgive and practice forgiveness as a way of life. Thank you Minister Lawrence L. Robertson at Word Mission Church, 1946 East Pembroke Ave., Hampton, VA 23663 for being a bridge of reconciliation for the family!
