Peter LOSEE Obituary
He will be missed by his loving parents, Debra and Peter Losee; his sister; Melissa Collins and fiancE, Curtis Zupko, all of Newport News; his grandmothers, Jeannette Laub of West Haven, Conn., and Blanche Barnett of Quincy, Mass., as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Denbigh Chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, from 6 to 7 p.m. Father Ken Wood will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home at 7 p.m. following. Internment will be private.
Arrangements are under the care of Altmeyer Funeral Home – Denbigh Chapel, 12893 Jefferson Ave, Newport News, VA 23608.

My fondest memory of you and I - "A Warm Summer Day at Virginia Beach". How you laughed and rolled in those waves enjoying every minute that your Aunt MaryBeth spent under water just trying to catch her breath and keep your kids afloat! How hard we laughed and how silly we would get every time we looked at each other after that day throughout the entire week to follow; and you even sillier because I, "the old lady" had a stiff neck form it all! You always had that way with me - you could always make me crack up with your one word/ one line profound statements of what was really going on!
Many years have past since that time and through the years and with all those miles between us we lost touch - but just recently with our reconnection on-line you made me smile one more time my nephew and my Godchild. I have so many memories that will never be forgotten, you were my other big brother, and that I am thankful for. I cherish the way you were with my kids, and I am happy you were able to meet Jasmine. I will always remember you as the happy, funny, caring PJ that you were. My prayers go out to your family, and my memories stay in my heart. May you RIP Pete. Peter,
Both Aunt Jo and I were shocked and saddened to hear that you were gone. You will suffer no more and for that we are grateful. I will miss being able to chat with my nephew to get the lowdown on family stuff. Or just to say hi and how are you. We go through out lives not knowing what God has planned for us. You have left your love on many of us both family and friends. You could not have left a more beautiful legacy than that. Our love and prayers are with You, Mom, Dad, Melissa and Curtis. I remember you as being my buddy at Ashton Green. You were always so nice and making me laugh. I was happy when we reconnected and made plans to hang out. It saddens me that we will never have that time together. I miss you but I know that you are at peace. Peter my friend and mentor. I can't beleive your gone. It just seems like we were partying yesterday at some random club in Virginia Beach. Your smile and sensabilty towards people made you who you are. You are deeply missed my friend. I didn't lose a friend I gained an angel. I will see you on the other side bro. Peter: You are gone now, flying with the angels above. You are now free of all the pain you endured during your life time. You can now make the angels smile even more with your energetic smile and personality. Hey peter this is channelle and pelar we will miss you deeply. Peter u was like a brother to me when I was going through my problems you was there to cheer me up, you put a smile on my face made me laugh and I enjoy going shopping and eating out. I can't believe that he is gone!!! Im glad he is not in pain anymore, but he left me too early. He was supposed to watch my kids grow up and be Uncle PJ. My heart is breaking and I am hurting inside.
