Phyllis JONES Obituary
Phyllis was born on July 28, 1949, in Hanover, Va., to the late Mozart and Laura Clarke. She was raised in Williamsburg, Va., by Edward and Mamie Edole.
She was preceded in death by both sets of parents and her brother, Reginold Edole.
Phyllis had a life full of love from her family and friends; she had a great love for God as well. Phyllis will be truly missed by her husband, Thomas Jones; daughters, Kosha Harris (Jayceel), Sonar Burnell, Thomasina Jones; and her son, Jonathan Burnell. Phyllis Jones memories will be cherished by her grandchildren, Jayceell, Michelyn, Israel, Zahria; four sisters, Jackie Moore (Fred), Dianne Mitchell, Delyvone Shamim, Deborah James (Jack); four brothers, Mozart Clarke (Pat), George Edward Clark, Lawrence Clark, Lafayette Clark; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, at M.E. Fisher Funeral Home from noon to 4 p.m. An additional viewing will be held at Holy Tabernacle Church of Deliverance from 4:30 to 6 p.m. A Homegoing Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Holy Tabernacle Church, located on 14742 Warwick Blvd, Newport News, Va.

Dear Kosha & Sonar,
My beautiful cousins, I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. She was a sweet and wonderful person. We always had fun talking and laughing together even though we didn't get to see each other very often after I moved to Florida. Take comfort in knowing that she is at peace with the Lord. My Aunt Pearl and your Nana will always be there for you. She is the "Rock of Gabralta" in our family. Give the rest of your family my sincere condolences. You're in my prayers!
