Randall WEBBER Obituary

YORKTOWN - Randall E. Webber, 74, Commander, U.S. Navy (retired), died peacefully and surrounded by his family on Monday, Dec. 7, 2009.
Born in Medford, Mass., he received his undergraduate degree from Boston University and his MBA from Michigan State University. A Supply Corps officer, he managed Navy Exchanges and Commissaries at such duty stations as Meridian, Miss, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Rota, Spain, before retiring as the officer in charge of the San Diego commissary region. He retired from the Navy Resale and Services Support Office (NAVRESSO) in 1991. He loved cars, traveling and most of all the Boston Red Sox. He moved to York County in 2002.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Webber; a daughter, Maureen Roth, of York County and her husband, Stephen; a son, Stephen, of New York, N.Y., and his wife, Sohodra; two granddaughters, Samantha and Maggie Roth, of York County; his brother-in-law, Paul St. Laurent, of Kingston, N.H., and his wife, Denise; four nieces, Shelly, Lisa, Cathy and Susan, and their families; and his special friend, Cooper.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Manor Chapel, 1793 1st Street, Hampton, 23665. He will be buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
The family would like to express their appreciation to his wonderful caregiver, Sammy, Odyssey Hospice and Visiting Angels.
Memorial contributions for a scholarship in his name can be sent to the Navy Supply Corps Foundation, 1425 Prince Ave., Athens, GA 30606-2205.
