Randy KING Obituary
Born in Ohio the son of Virginia and "Tink" Miante, Randy grew up in Hampton graduating from Hampton High School in 1971. He went into the Newport News Shipyard Apprentice School working 22 years in the Newport News Shipyard until retiring.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Misty King Greer and husband, Brandon; son, Shawn King and special friend, Raelean Brassley; brother, Tim Miante; nephew, Justin Miante; and grandchildren, Shawn King Jr., Kristanne King, Elizabeth Troxell, Amanda Troxell, Destin'ee Greer and Grace Greer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday at Parkview Church of God by the Rev. Mark S. Hambrick. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m.

Misty, You did a wonderful job on your dads memeorial. I wish I would have gotten to know him beter. He seemed like a really cool guy and I would have loved to hear his music.

Dear Dad.
Everyday I try to comprehend that you are in heaven now but it just seems unreal that you are gone. I miss you everyday some days are worse than others. I miss you saying "I love you too darlin" before we hang up the phone but now I know you are looking down on me and your grandchildren. I love you dad!

Tim, Misty and family,
I am so sorry to see this notice in the paper. I can only say that I am sorry to hear of Randy's passing. He is now at peace and gone to be with mom and dad. May God bless you all. I send my condolences to all of you.
