Raymond FIELDS Obituary

SALUDA - Raymond Fields, 70, passed away Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010.
He was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Also, he was employed as a farmer and truck driver.
Those remaining to treasure his memory are his wife, Nellie Price Braxton Fields; sister, Renee Slater of Norfolk; daughter, Charlene Fields of Upper Darby, Pa.; three stepdaughters, Patsy Hutchins of Saluda, Deborah Price of Ardmore, Pa., and Karen McCovery of Newport News; two grandchildren, Keyona Washington and Khalid Brisbon of Upper Darby, Pa.; three stepgrandchildren, Stephanie Speller (Dontae) of Hampton, Patricia Price of Saluda and Shauntrel McCovery of Newport News; mother-in-law, Mellie Price of Saluda; sister-in-law, Minni Price of Saluda; brothers-in-law, the Rev. Bobby Price (Gloria) of Centre, Ala., and Herman Price (Christyne) of Havertown, Pa.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at the Immanuel Baptist Church, Saluda. Interment in the church cemetery. The viewing will be noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at the J.K.
