Wendy and Family, I was shocked to hear of Richard's passing. Jan and 'D'
relayed the news to me in my birthday card. I extend my heartfelt sympathy and wish you all the best as you handle his absence. He isn't far away.
He is as close in your hearts as he
always was, just not visible. He will not be forgotten in our neighborhood.
You all are special folks and I will
hold the friendship of Verell Street's
& Little Farms Ave. people forever.
Love,
Addie

To the family of my dearest buddy. My heart is broken over Richard's death.I am unable to face your sadness..even to think about it or to admit it to myself. We had 15 years of unbeatable friendship .The thoughts of not having him around is too much for me.My thanks to you for sharing him with me and for accepting me as he did..as a family member , unconditionally. Whenever I needed help of any nature..from killing a mouse in my house..and another mouse in my house (this tine with his work gloves on)or climbing through a window to unlock a door, computer help, or just to chit-chat and offer advice, Richard was willing. He was a #1 neighborand friend.Like my husband Dexter ,his death has left a sadness and an emptiness felt only by those who loved him.To his precious family: The last conversation I had with Richard was about his new granddaughter, Harley. His response to my comments about this beautiful baby eas.."Ihope she always stays this sweet and innocent and will know that I love her!" No doubt she felt the love in his arms as he held her and n his eyes as headored her This was the kind of wonderful person he was.

We are so sorry for your loss. Rich is the definition of what a man should be: a loving husband, father, Grandfather, son, brother, neighbor, and friend. We only knew Rich for a brief time, in comparison, but we considered him a special person and a wonderful neighbor. We will all miss him very much. Our thoughts are with you all in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
Sincerely,
Trey, Rhiannon, and Isabelle

Our friendship began when I drove my VW past his VW to my new home in his neighborhood. He toasted me as "his twin brother and one true friend"at my wedding. We had the same birthdays, drove VW'S and shared the same enthusiasm for engines! We spent many hours in the heat and cold "playing" with them.I will always remember my spunky, little brother and will keep the image of him lovingly and dutifully taking care of his household.DEXTER D. We are having a very heart breaking time thinking of all of our wonderful memories of a great man whom I am going to miss, a good friend, a caring and gentle man whom would do and be there for anything anyone would need. I know he was for me. My heart has a big hole in it for his loss. We loved him as a friend and the BEST neighbor anyone one be greatful to have. God Bless all of you because I know the loss we feel I can only imagine yours. Wendy We are so sorry, Richard was your man. I'm just thinking niw of you and him on the swing on our porch, Paula you remember that's real love one of a kind. Paula I know you were daddy's girl, how lucky could any daughter be to have hime as a father. And as for you Mike he was the closest to a father-in-law as any man could have how lucky is that and a best friend too. Rick we are so sorry for your loss as an only son that has to be such a loss to you. And lets not leave out his two little buddies that stayed at his feet, they will miss him so.
