Richard DIGGS Obituary
Until his illness he worked for Anheuser Busch, Williamsburg, Va.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 30 years, Marilyn; son, Christopher and his wife, Jacklyn; four brothers, Robert, Donald, Gilbert Lee and Stuart.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews, Va. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, in the Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in St. Paul Annex, Susan, Va. I was saddened to learn of Ricky's passing. I have fond memories as a child of being at his parent's and playing/fishing/crabbing on the dock behind the house with cousin Ricky and his brothers. Just know he is with God and will have no more suffering, no more pain. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear about Ricky. We have some great memories of him from Sammy & Nicks. Marilyn you are the greatest I know that its been a real rough road. You and Chris and his wife are in our thoughts and prayers.

Marilyn, Mitchell and I are both so sorry to hear about Ricky's passing. It seems like yesterday that Ricky was hurrying from the house to the garage and then back again, over and over. Always busy. Always in a hurry. I know you will miss him. You are in our prayers.

We are very sorry to hear about the passing of Ricky and the terrible illness he went through. We are very happy to have known him when we were neighbors in Bavon years ago. You have been a wonderful mother, wife and caretaker. words cant describe how much of an angel you were to Ricky. Ricky may have given you hard rough times but in the deepest of his heart he loved you so much. you have nothing to regret becuase you gave this man exactly what you promised him at marriage. He knew how much you loved him and he still knows. he is in heaven now where he can watch over you and chris. We love you so much and chris too

Marilyn & Family, I was so sorry to hear the passing of Ricky. He had put a long fight with his illness and now he has gone home. Take peace and confort that you were able to be with him for such a long period of time. I think back to the days that Ricky would always come in front of my house and blow the horn and it was time for school again. He was always there to take me to school and bring me home. Ricky and his family were always very important to our family. Please give my thought and prayers to his brothers and take confort that he is no longer suffering.
