Ricky STEPHAN Obituary
An active duty member of the United States Marine Corps, Ricky served two tours of duty in Iraq over his five year career with the Corps. He also enjoyed attending the Wave Church, spending time studying with his friends.
Ricky is survived by a large, loving family that includes his mother, Veda Stephan and her fiancE, Tony Ostiguy; his father, Ricky Stephan Sr. and his wife, Amy; his daughter, Brianna Lynn Stephan; and his girlfriend, Charlotte Shelton. Also surviving are two sisters, Britney and her fiancE, Joseph Mullens, and Heather Stephan; brother, Noah Stephan; grandmother, Shirley Morris; uncle, Thomas Morris and his girlfriend, Christina Heath; aunt, Lillian Morris; niece, Skyla Mullens; and two dogs, Ollie and Roscoe.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 4, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 5792 Greenwich Road, Virginia Beach. The graveside service, which will include full military honors, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at Woodlawn Cemetery, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, with the Rev. Ernest Trueblood and Pastor Fred Bates officiating. Condolences may also be expressed to the family at www.altmeyer.com. Hey Stephan,
I still find myself thinking about you. I know you are in a much better place. Its just still hard to think you are gone. We had a funny brother and sister relationship always picking on each other but those moments I will always cherish. You were my first friend when I got to CP. Thank you for taking those late night trips to Walmart for me when I did not have a car lol You are truely missed. RIP

It's hard loosing someone who had a heart of gold and who was a great person in life! I have known ricky since i was 5 years old. Its hard to believe that i have known him and his family for so long. Its even harder to believe that he is gone, espacially when i look back at us growing up and remebering certain memories of how we were when we were kids. Even though I could not be there for the memorial, i do want to let his family know how deeply sorry iam and that i will think of him and keep him and his family in my prayers.

I Cant believe you gone Ricky. You will always hold a special spot in my heart. Although you could get under my skin sometimes I wouldnt trade the time we had together for anything. Ricky..the time has come for me to make this entry and get what closure I can. I absolutely cannot believe you are gone. We had our good and bad times but you still touched mine and Colby's life in a way you may have not realized. We love you dearly and you will ALWAYS hold a special place in our hearts. We miss you dearly and so wish you had the chance to live all of those dreams you shared with me so many times. You were such a "go getter" and worked hard to get what you wanted. I carry with me such loving and fun memories and chuckle here and there of some of the goofy things we did. I walk Walmart at the earliest hours like we did, reminiscing. I hope you have found peace and can rest now and no longer be restless. One day we shall meet again and I will give you the biggest hug my friend. This is so hard but RIP Ricky...R.I.P!
