Robert MOWEN Obituary
Robert was born July 16, 1954 in Alliance, Ohio, to Rose Mowen and the late William Mowen Sr. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding for 30 years, as a test engineer in E-84.
He is survived by his wife, Nelia Mowen of Hampton, Va.; two daughters, Jaclyn of Newport News, Va., and Saralyn Cumberledge (Joshua) of Jacksonville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Izrael and Levi, with one on the way; sisters, Loretta Mowen, Christine Chade (Jeff) of Alliance, Ohio; and brother, Bill Mowen (Roxanne) of Denver, Colo.

I stood watch with Bob when he served as an STE on ENTERPRISE and several NIMITZ class carriers. Bob was a real gentleman, very careful about how his actions would affect the nuclear reactor plant, and always tried to do his best.
May God bless his family and give comfort to them in their grief.
