Dear Mrs. Deaver, I am sorry I took so long to send you my thoughts and prayers on the homecoming for Mr. Deaver. He was boss and friend when I worked in the commerical yard. He taught me many things about fitting pipe and about life itself. I must admit, it was not easy trying to understand what kind of man he stood for or the kind of person he was. But over the time, I came to understand him and the way he got things done. Every time I would see him, I would shake his hand and give a hug, because I missed him when He left the 043 department. May God take care of Mr. Deaver's family and you. We will be with him again, when we all go home. Love You, Tyrone Parker 043 Pipefitter 2nd shift. Class of the Apprentice School 1980.

I always looked up to him not as my brother in law but rather my only big brother. He was there for me more times than I can account for, as he was for many others. A kind and loving man who gave of himself to others without reservations. I shall love and cherish the wonderful memories of my big brother forever.

Debbie,
My sympathy on learning of Robert's passing. I still see you both in my mind going out to lunch daily at the Shipyard and then Robert coming by to pick you up to go home in the evening. You could easily see the tender love in his eyes for you which is eternal. Always remember his quiet loving manner; he was a true gentleman. You are in my prayers. Please let me know if we can help.
