Brenda and family,

My wife and I are saddened by the news and I know he will be missed by the whole family. I can't speak for Chris, but know that both of us have very fond memories of our summers in Virginia with Fielding. While I look forward to seeing the family this week i wish it were under other circumstances.

What an inspiration Fielding was to us all. You knew he loved his family and could tell he enriched everyone who was around him. We thank him for raising such a wonderful family and for sharing Edmund with our family. We feel he is rejoicing in heaven with his Maker and we pray for comfort, healing, and understanding for all who are left here on earth without him. Much love to the entire family.
