Remember Mac well as an employee of the VANG in Denbigh. Mac was instrumental in getting a job for me with the FAA when the Nike Sites closed. He was a TOP Mechanid and was dedicated to his employment bringing expert experience to the job, performing duties beyond what other experts could accomplish. Mac was fun loving and always willing to help others in their times of need. CWO 4 (Ret) William (Will) A. Rodgers, Sr.

Ann-Tilghman and I send our condolences to each of the surving members of the Gardner Family. I shall be ever grateful for the friendship Mac shared with me during my years with the Va. Army National Guard. When the NIKE Site received notice that it would close, Mac was instrumental in helping me get a job with the FAA and that was the beginning of very lucrative future for me and my family. His friendship, along with that of his brother "Dellie" (Delaware) will, forever be a part of the fondest memories in my life. He will be greatly missed. Judy, Jackie, Bobby, and the rest of uncle Mac's family, my condolences to you all. Mac was a good uncle. He and dad were pretty close through the years. One of my very first jobs (when I was 15 years old) was sweeping the floor and running parts for Beechmont Garage. That was a long time ago. Uncle Mac got one of my puppies back in the mid 70s and named him Pancho. He was Mac's faithful companion for a good while.
Well, Uncle Mac, do me a favor, and tell dad, mom, and all the other uncles and aunts that we miss them and love them.
I will finally get to meet Jackie and Judy after all these years.
