Robert Carter Obituary
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sarah Lee Carter; a daughter and her husband, Marjorie and Franklin Massey of Richmond; a son and his wife, Glenn and Judy Carter of Richmond; four grandchildren, Fran (John) Henneberger, Carter (Amber) Massey, Lindsey Carter, Amanda Carter; four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Sawyer and August.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at First Baptist Church, 414 Main Street, West Point, Va. Burial will follow in Old Church United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at Vincent Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va.
Memorials may be made to West Point Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department, Inc., Box X, West Point, VA 23181.

Dear Aunt Sarah Lee (Aunt Egg),
I will never forget Uncle Robert, he always had a smile on his face and was so kind and funny. I will always remember as a child coming to the farm and feeding the pigs and the chickens. I am thinking of you at this time. The Carter family has lost a great man.
