He was educated in Hampton City Schools where he graduated from George P. Phenix High School in 1958.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Ronald C. Perkins Funeral home. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. Viewing will be today from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of our classmate Bobby Christian. Memories of the good times that we shared at Phenix High School shall always remain in our hearts. Please accept our condolences and sympathy, and may God be with you always.

Uncle Bobby was a very loving down to earth person. I thank God for him. He was one of a kind, a memory to behold. We thank God for Henry (Joe Joe) and Arlene taking very good care of him because it relieved others just to know that that he was being cared for. So as we grow closer in Christ giving God all the praise that He so rightly deserves, let us just share love like Uncle Bobby shared love. God Bless!!!!
