Robert MITCHELL Obituary
Robert was known for his generosity and kind heart, especially to the communities' youth and the elderly.
Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his three sisters, Constance Curry, Phyllis Mitchell and Katrina Curry; three brothers, Tony, Alton and Jerry Mitchell. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his fiancE, and love of his life, Amisha "Missy" Rodgers; five special stepchildren and a host of special relatives and friends whom he loved dearly.
The family would like to thank Dr. Chang and his staff, Virginia Oncology Associates, the Hematology and Oncology nurses of Sentara Careplex and Heartland Hospice Services for all of their love, help, and support.
Roberts's homegoing celebration will be held at Restoration and Faith Ministry Church. 2114 Wickham Ave., at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, by the Rev. Rosser.

Deepest sympathy to Jerry, Trina, Phyliss & the family. I go all way back to 21st Street with "Sweep P". Sitting in the alley listening to all his stories. He always schooled us and taught us about life and how to live it to the fullest. He will be missed. God bless you and comfort you at this time of need and always.
